The first day of the seventh round in the EuroCup saw Unics Kazan escape from Vilnius with a big win over Rytas (81-87).

Errick McCollum and Pierria Henry led the way for the winners, with 26 (9/13 shooting) and 18 points, respectively. On the other hand, five players scored in double figures for the losing squad, yet they couldn’t give their team the victory.

Unics came back from an eight-point deficit in the first half (43-35) and outscored their opponents 38-52 in the second half to win the game.

The Russians improved to 6-1 and qualified to the Top 16, whereas the Lithuanians dropped to 3-4.

In the other matches, Tofas Bursa beat Arka Gdynia on the road (77-87), while Trento edged Villeurbanne at home (79-77).
