Thanks to an excellent performance in the first half (58-39), the San Antonio Spurs rallied past the New Orleans Pelicans at home (109-95).

The duo of DeMar DeRozan and LaMarcus Aldridge combined for 48 points (26 and 22, respectively) for the winners, as three more players scored in double figures.

Jrue Holiday had a game-high 29 points for the losing squad, with Nikola Mirotic making an impressive double-double (22 points, 16 boards).

San Antonio played excellent on both ends of the floor in the first half, took a 19-point lead and never looked back (58-39). New Orleans tried to turn things around, but they came up short and were defeated.

This was the sixth win in eight games for the Spurs (6-2), whereas the Pelicans lost for the fifth time in nine games (4-5).
