The Toronto Raptors executed very well offensively and had no problem to beat the Philadelphia 76ers at home (129-112).
Kawhi Leonard made his return to the roster, after an one-game absence, and had a game-high 31 points for the winners. Kyle Lowry scored 20 points and dished 12 assists, Jonas Valanciunas added 23 points and Pascal Siakam contributed 15 points and a career-high 15 rebounds.
On the other hand, Joel Embiid scored a game-high 31 points, along with 11 boards, with Ben Simmons coming very close to the triple-double (11 points, eight boards, 10 assists).
The Raptors dominated their opponents from the opening tip (35-26) and closed the first half in front by 14 (67-53). Things didn’t change much later (105-86) and the hosts cruised to an easy victory, as the 76ers couldn’t turn things around.
This was the sixth win in seven games for Toronto (6-1), whereas Philadelphia suffered their fourth defeat (4-4).
