EuroLeague Basketball announced that Walter Tavares was named the EuroLeague MVP in October.
Real Madrid center played very well on both ends of the floor and helped the defending champions make a great start to the season (4-0).
Tavares averaged 10.3 points, 9.5 rebounds and three blocks per game, while shooting at 72.7% in two-pointers and 91.7% in free throws. He also had a PIR of 19.5.
The “Whites” scored a total of 386 points in the first four games, which were the most ever collected in the season’s first month.
