Khimki were close to their first EuroLeague victory, but Mike James made three free throws and Olimpia Milano survived the Russians (81-80).

James had a team-high 25 points and eight assists for the winners, with Arturas Gudaitis adding 13 points and 13 rebounds.

Jordan Mickey scored a game-high 26 points (on 12/15 shooting) for the losing squad, with Alexey Shved posting 19 points and 10 assists.

The visitors outscored their opponents 25-16 in the second quarter and were in front by six at halftime (39-45). The hosts came back, though, and went on a 27-17 run to take the lead (66-62).

But, the Russians responded and came one step away from beating Milano, yet James made three free throws, with 3.3 seconds remaining, to give his team the victory.

The Italians were victorious for the third time in four games (3-1), whereas Khimki suffered their fourth straight loss (0-4).
