Vincent Poirier had a game-high 24 points, along with 11 rebounds, for the losing squad, while Tornike Shengelia posted 16 points and six boards.
Bayern made a great start to the game (20-11) and had an 11-point lead at halftime (43-32). Things didn’t change much later (61-52) and the Germans claimed the victory, as the visitors couldn’t turn things around.
The Basques had a very low three-point percentage, as they shot at just 16% from beyond the arc.
Bayern climbed higher in the standings (2-2), while Baskonia dropped to 1-3.
