Bamberg forward Arnoldas Kulboka talked to TalkBasket.net, moments after his team’s defeat to AEK Athens on the road (93-86).

Here is what the 20-year-old Lithuanian said:

On the loss to the defending champions: “It was a bad game, we were missing many players, while we lost Tyrese during the match, so we actually had no ball handlers.

It was tough, we made many mistakes, especially on defence, and even though we scored 86 points, we lost.”

On what went wrong during the game: “We made stupid mistakes. We took the risk and switched a lot on defence, but we left many open shots. Their guards were very aggressive.”

On his individual performance: “We lost. It doesn’t matter whether I played well or not since we were defeated. It is about the team.”
