Khimki forward, Anthony Gill, says his team is ready for the new season and looking forward for the opponents that are supposed to be better than the Russian club.
Here’s what he said about the upcoming game:
On Olympiacos: “We’re still learning each other, but I think if we continue to work hard and sacrifice for each other we’ll be okay. Olympiacos is going to be a good challenge for us, we need teams like that. We’re not running away from anybody, we want to play teams that are supposed to be better than us. We want to play them early as many times as we can. I think it’ll help us”.
On playing in Mytishchi: “I think we have a good fan base out there. People show up every game. It makes us more comfortable that we’ve been there before. Being there again will help us out”.
