Khimki were unstoppable from the opening tip and cruised to an easy victory over VEF Riga on the road in the VTB League season opener (67-96).
Alexey Shved led the way for the winners with 23 points and eight assists. Jordan Mickey added 16 points and seven rebounds. Artis Ate had 19 points for the hosts.
Khimki were in front by 26 at halftime (26-52) and never looked back. They extended their lead to 37 (41-78) in the third quarter and easily won the game.
