LeBron James made his first appearance with the Los Angeles Lakers in the team’s loss to the Denver Nuggets (124-107) in the pre-season opener.

“It was great to get back on the floor and then start a new journey for myself,” said James, who had nine points, three assists and three rebounds in 15 minutes of action.

“Hear our Lakers fans that we have in San Diego. It was a great feeling to go out there and hear the roar of the fans here,” the “King” added.

The Lakers will again face the Nuggets on Thursday, yet it’s still unclear how much time James will have in the rest of the pre-season.
