Ramunas Butautas was replaced by another Lithuanian coach Donaldas Kairys in ASK Riga. 31-year-old coach has already some serious experience having worked with Khimki, Lietuvos Rytas, CSKA Moscow and San Antonio Spurs.
Latvian club lost three key players and Bruno Sundov is expected to be next. Donaldas Kairys will have a chance to prove himself as a head coach in Lavian capital club.
Kairys is also a member of Lithuanian national team staff. His main task in the national team is scouting opponents and preparing reports.
