Zach LeDay was tremendous with 31 points and 11 rebounds, as three more players scored in double figures.
For the Israelis, James Feldeine was unstoppable with 30 points (on 6/12 from the three-point range). Josh Owens had 17 points and 13 boards.
It was a close game from the opening tip and no team could earn a significant advantage (26-31, 51-45, 76-77). In the end, though, the “Reds” stood tall and sealed the victory.
Olympiacos, who played without Vassilis Spanoulis, will face Unics Kazan on Sunday (23/09). Hapoel Jerusalem will play against Galatasaray.
