According to sportando.basketball, 26-year-old unrestricted free agent Lucas Nogueira will continue his career in Europe. Former Toronto Raptors center is signing a contract with Montakit Fuenlabrada of the Spanish Liga ACB.
Nogueira his entire NBA career spent playing for the Raptors mostly as Jonas Valanciunas’s backup. Although the team had the possibility to extend the qualifying offer for the upcoming season, but didn’t do it.
During a four-year NBA career Nogueira averaged 3.2 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per game. Before coming to the NBA Nogueira also played in the Spanish Liga ACB. This summer the Toronto Raptors signed the deal with another center – Greg Monroe.
