Three-time NBA champion, Dwyane Wade, announced he will come back to the league for one last season. Wade will sign an one-year contract with the Miami Heat.

Although retirement was an option for the 12-time All-Star during the off-season, he decided this wasn’t the right time to put an end to his career.

That said, he will return to Miami for one last season. Wade posted a video on YouTube to explain his decision.

The 36-year-old guard, who leads Miami in points, assists, steals and games played, spent the last season between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Miami Heat.

He averaged 11.4 points, 3.4 assists and 3.8 rebounds in 23 minutes of action in the regular season as well as 16.6 points, 3.6 assists and 4.2 rebounds during the playoffs.

This will be Wade’s 16th season in the NBA.
