Milos Teodosic and Boban Marjanovic of the Los Angeles Clippers will not join the Serbian national team for the matches against Greece (September 13) and Estonia (September 16) in the World Cup Qualifiers.

Per the Serbian website “Novosti”, the head coach of Serbia, Sasa Djordjevic, met with the Clippers’ General Manager, Lawrence Frank, and discussed about the two players’ physical condition.

Although coach Djordjevic wanted both players to participate in the WC Qualifiers, the Clippers didn’t give them permission and, consequently, Teodosic and Marjanovic will miss the matches against Greece and Estonia.

The Serbian Basketball Federation is expected to announce the final roster for the WC Qualifiers later today (29/9).
