According to many reports in the USA, Khimki Moscow forward Tyler Honeycutt was found dead by the SWAT of Los Angeles Police Department, after shootout with police.
It was reported that Honeycutt had barricaded himself after firing a gun, supposedly at police in a Los Angeles area. When the SWAT entered the house, they found him dead.
The official confirmation by the LAPD, regarding the identity of the deceased man, is now expected.
Honeycutt played for Khimki last season, averaging 9.2 points and 5.4 rebounds in the EuroLeague as well as 10.3 points and 6.4 rebounds in the VTB League.
UPDATE: SWAT entered the residence & located an unresponsive male. LAFD responded & pronounced the male dead at scene. Investigators from our Force Investigation Division are at scene conducting a thorough investigation and we will provide more details as they become available
