Following the victory of Fenerbahce over Zalgiris Kaunas (76-67), which led the defending champions to the Euroleague Final for a third straight year, coach Zeljko Obradovic praised his players for their performance, mentioning that they knew what they had to do to win the game.
“It was a tough game, we knew that from the beginning. In the halftime, we said it was crucial for us to maintain our defensive performance at the highest level, but Zalgiris was relentless and came back three times. They always find a way to come back, they do that all season,” said the legendary coach in the post-game press conference.
“Everybody that enters the floor knows what he has to do, this is what defines us. At the same time, I was not surprised by Dixon’s performance, I know what he can do and I certainly trust him,” coach Obradovic stated.
