Fashion media giants Complex took over the Long Beach Convention Center for the second annual ComplexCon event, which brought many pairs of exclusive kicks to the table.
Amongst the pairs they checked out were the highly-anticipated N*E*R*D x Adidas HU NMD, gold “Top 3” Air Jordan 1, Concepts’ New Balance 999 “Hyannis” pack, and, of course, the various Air Force 1 collabs designed by the likes of Travis Scott, Virgil Abloh, Don C, and more.

Many sneaker lovers were in attendance with many wanting pairs of exclusive kicks, but some were also there re-selling the sneakers to make their own profit. A trade that many feel is killing the joy of buying sneakers and taking advantage of desperation.
One of the well-known footwear lovers, DJ Clark Kent was featured on Complex’s popular ‘Sneaker Shopping’ show. He told host Joe La Puma about the joy of the Air Force 1 and the many collaborations on show at ComplexCon, including the all-white shoe.
“People are just actually realising that they were the best shoe from the beginning,” Kent explained, regarding the model’s recent surge in popularity. “All of these are just white-on-whites, and they are that good that everybody will probably want all of them on this wall. It’s too easy.”
