Now over 24 hours removed from their first ever Eurobasket success, they plan to savour this moment forever.

The team arrived in the capital Ljubljana yesterday afternoon and were met with cheers, chants and smiles.

The nation of just over two million can call their national basketball team: champions. And due to the new FIBA cycle, they can enjoy that title for four years.
