Milwaukee Bucks’ Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo says that he “might” win the 2017-18 NBA MVP next season.

If the talented Greece international were to win MVP next season, he’d become one of the five-youngest players to ever win the NBA’s highest individual award.

NBA youngsters that go on international duty tend to thrive for their club when they return to the league. Kevin Durant went to the NBA Finals, won an MVP award and last season, captured his first title following his first stint with the USA back in 2010, as did Steph Curry and Kyrie Irving after the 2014 FIBA World Cup.

Antetokounmpo capped his first All-Star appearance, where he led the East scorers with 30 points with the Most Improved Player award for the Bucks last season.

He averaged 22.9 points and 8.8 rebounds a game, leading Milwaukee to the Playoffs.
