Tenerife returned to winning ways and are now on top of the Liga Endesa table after they beat Zaragoza 65-54 at home.

Tim Abromaitis led the winners with 19 points as they fended off the challenge of Valencia at the top as they enjoyed the weekend off.

Real Madrid were made to work hard for their 101-99 win over Fuenlabrada but Sergio Llull clutch performance carried the champions home.

Llull finished with 28 points.

Baskonia remained in fourth after they edged Real Betis 79-75 as Shane Larkin and Chase Budinger each scored 15 in the win.

But Barcelona lost ground on the top three as they fell to Gran Canaria 95-82.
