Anadolu Efes bolstered its frontcourt by inking center Alex Kirk for the remainder of the season, the club announced Monday.

The 25-year-old Kirk arrives from Guangzhou Securities, where he averaged 17.7 points and 10.1 rebounds in seven Chinese League games this season.

He started his professional career with Cleveland Cavaliers of the NBA and also played for Canton of the D-League and Giorgio Tesi Group Pistoia of Italy before joining Guangzhou.

Kirk replaces Alen Omic, who was sent on loan to EuroCup powerhouse Unicaja Malaga. He is set to make his EuroLeague debut with Efes this season.
