Unicaja Malaga's medical staff wants Giorgos Printezis to undergo surgery on his shoulder in order to speed up the recovery time and have the Greek player back for the second half of the season.
On the other hand, Printezis tries to avoid surgery at any cost as it would leave him out of action for at least three months and travelled for this reason back to his native Greece to get second opinions by doctors he trusts.
Now the Greek player is back in Spain and will have a meeting with Unicaja's medical staff in order to decide upon the course of action.
