The players of Cibona Zagreb decided to go on a strike and stop training on the 22nd of November if they haven't received any guarantees of payment by the 21st .
"If by the 21st of November we're not presented with guarantees and a plan to solve this financial crisis, we shall stop training, although we will continue to play the scheduled games." said Captain Marin Rozic.
"I will try to convince them to stay, but I cannot pay them out of my own pocket." said coach Velimir Perasovic.
The historic club does have an important property in real estate, is however short of cash that is needed to meet costs and expenses.
