CSKA Moscow coach Dimitris Itoudis has said that it would be a good idea for the EuroLeague to allow its teams to play with 13-man rosters in light of the new format that starts in October.

Following CSKA’s 77-66 win against Aris Thessaloniki, Itoudis addressed the issue that the EuroLeague could be more physically draining on the players due to competition’s new schedule.

Itoudis noted that such a change has also happened in the past and worked out successfully, when the squads players were increased from 10 to 12 and it is possible to happen for all teams have 13 or more active contracts for the season.
