The Portland Trail Blazers have added another player to their training camp roster, signing free agent wing Jaylen Martin to a non-guaranteed Exhibit 10 contract.
Martin is expected to join Portland for training camp on Wednesday. The 22-year-old went undrafted in 2023 after playing in Overtime Elite and has spent most of his professional career in the G League.
The 6-foot-6 wing has also received limited NBA opportunities. Martin appeared in 16 regular-season games for the Brooklyn Nets and Washington Wizards during the 2024-25 season.
Last season, Martin split his time between the Delaware Blue Coats and Rip City Remix.
Across 39 G League games, he averaged 9.6 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 20.4 minutes while shooting 54.9% from the field.
Portland did not need to make another transaction to accommodate Martin because the team entered the day with two available spots on its 21-player preseason roster.
His addition brings the Trail Blazers to 20 players under contract.
Martin is ultimately expected to return to the Rip City Remix for the G League season.
Under his Exhibit 10 agreement, he can earn a bonus of up to $91,000 in addition to his G League salary if he spends at least 60 days with Portland’s affiliate.
