The New York Knicks have decided to release Jaylen Martin from his two-way contract, aiming to open up roster space for the signing of Dmytro Skapintsev on a two-way deal.

This move was prompted by the need for additional center depth, given the injuries to Mitchell Robinson and Jericho Sims. Notably, Martin did not make any appearances in NBA games during this season.

The 6-foot-6 wing did, however, play in 16 games with the Westchester Knicks in the G League, where he posted averages of 9.7 points and 2.9 rebounds.
