The Portland Trail Blazers have added Hyunjung Lee to their roster, signing the 25-year-old forward to an Exhibit 10 contract.
Lee is expected to spend the preseason with Portland before joining the Rip City Remix, the Trail Blazers’ G League affiliate, for the upcoming season.
The 6-foot-7 forward arrives after an impressive year in Japan. Lee appeared in 64 games for Nagasaki Velca in the B.League, averaging 17.5 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.2 steals per game.
Lee was particularly efficient as a shooter, finishing the season with 55/46/84 shooting splits.
Before beginning his professional career, Lee played college basketball at Davidson. He left after his junior season and entered the 2022 NBA Draft but was not selected.
Lee later gained experience in the G League, appearing in 12 games for the Santa Cruz Warriors.
