Onsi Saleh: “We feel like this group is growing at a good pace”

Here’s Atlanta Hawks president of basketball operations Onsi Saleh discussing the roster for 2026-27.

“We got a lot of young guys. We’re one of the younger teams in the league still, but adding Aaron [Wiggins] and Lu [Dort], we just feel like we’re gonna be a really competitive group including the development of our guys like Jalen [Johnson], Dyson [Daniels], and everybody getting better, and Nickeil [Alexander-Walker] and Onyeka [Okongwu], Asa [Newell]. We feel like this group is growing at a good pace, and we’re getting where we want to get. I do think it’s gonna be a very competitive Eastern Conference. With that being said, I believe we have a team that’s gonna compete every night on both sides of the court.”
