James Harden’s misdemeanor gun case has been dismissed following his June arrest in Houston.

According to court records, Harris County prosecutors moved to dismiss the unlawful carrying of weapons charge after the Cleveland Cavaliers guard completed an “alternative resolution agreement.” A judge formally approved the dismissal Thursday.

Harden was arrested on June 13 after Houston police allegedly discovered an unholstered firearm in plain view inside his vehicle during a routine traffic stop.

The 11-time NBA All-Star did not publicly address the arrest. At the time, the Cavaliers acknowledged the situation and said they were gathering information.

“We are in contact with James and his representation,” the team said, “and will continue to monitor developments as they become available. At this time, we will have no further comment.”

With the charge now dismissed, the case will not carry into the upcoming NBA season.
