Alberto Abalde from Real Madrid share his thoughts about EuroLeague SuperCup tournament that will be held in Abu Dhabi and his team chemistry after the media practice in Etihad Arena.
“Well, obviously it’s so early in the season, in the pre-season, so in this kind of tournament for sure there is a lot of uncertainty how the teams will play, so the most important thing for us is our style, the way that we want to play, the way that we want to build the team for a long season and we have a really nice tournament to fight for the title, so the desire to compete will be there. We have new players, new coach, new style of game, so it’s so early, but we want to continue building and we have a title in front of us, so we are ready to compete”, said Abalde who knows that he team needs to focus on their game.
“Yeah, we want to do a fast game, we want to be aggressive on defense, so we are very focused day by day in the things that we want to build and do that every game and here it will be a great test against a big team”, continued Alberto Abalde who is excited to be part of the first SuperCup.
“Well, it’s the first time to have this kind of tournament, so we’ll see. It’s great, of course, early in the season for the fans and also for the players to have four big teams, four great rosters here, so it’s a nice opportunity to play this tournament.”
