Former NBA guard Isaiah Rider is back in custody in Arizona after being found guilty of failing to comply with a court order.

According to Maricopa County jail records, Rider was taken into custody Thursday night and booked Friday morning. He is expected to remain in jail until Tuesday.

The latest incident comes months after Rider was arrested twice in connection with a protective order obtained by his estranged wife, Vanessa.

He was first arrested in December for allegedly violating the order and later taken into custody again after missing a court hearing, where a judge decided to extend the protection order.

Rider has denied the allegations, claiming Vanessa sought the order because he was moving forward with their divorce. Vanessa has maintained the order was requested solely to protect herself and their child.

The 1994 NBA Slam Dunk champion played for five teams during his career and was widely recognized as one of the league’s most athletic players.
