The Cleveland Cavaliers continue to be viewed as the leading destination for LeBron James if he leaves the Los Angeles Lakers, with Marc Stein of The Stein Line reporting that a third stint in Cleveland remains the “scenario to beat.”

While the Cavaliers are considered the frontrunners, several other teams are still trying to convince the four-time NBA champion to join them.

Golden State remains firmly in the mix, with Draymond Green revealing on Monday that he has spent the past several days recruiting James.

The Miami Heat and Philadelphia 76ers are also continuing their efforts to land the veteran forward.

Meanwhile, Minnesota Timberwolves head coach Chris Finch said he believes his team is still in contention as well.

According to reports, James is also getting closer to making a final decision on his future.
