The Charlotte Hornets have agreed to acquire veteran forward Dorian Finney-Smith from the Houston Rockets in exchange for three second-round picks, according to ESPN.

The deal gives Charlotte another experienced wing while adding to its growing collection of draft assets.

Following the trade, the Hornets now own 20 second-round picks over the next seven years, giving them the second-most tradable draft picks in the NBA.

For Houston, the move creates additional roster flexibility after adding Marcus Smart and Bogdan Bogdanovic earlier in the offseason.

The Rockets also generate a $13 million trade exception that could be used in future transactions.
