After going undrafted in the 2026 NBA Draft, former Utah State guard Drake Allen has agreed to join the Pistons on an Exhibit 10 contract, according to Hunter Patterson of The Athletic.

Allen spent time at multiple programs during his college career before finishing at Utah State, where he started throughout the 2025/26 season.

He averaged 7.9 points, 4.7 assists, and 3.0 rebounds per game while establishing himself as one of the top defensive guards in the Mountain West Conference.

Although he isn’t known as a high-volume scorer, Allen earned attention from NBA teams because of his playmaking ability and defensive impact.

He led the conference with 2.0 steals per game last season.

The Exhibit 10 agreement gives Allen an opportunity to compete for a roster spot during training camp and Summer League.

The contract could eventually be converted into a two-way deal, though he may also spend time with the Motor City Cruise, Detroit’s G League affiliate, as he begins his professional career.
