After moving up in the lottery, the Bulls used the fourth overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft to select North Carolina big man Caleb Wilson.

The 6-foot-10 forward/center was one of the top freshmen in college basketball, averaging 19.8 points, 9.4 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.4 blocks per game.

Wilson earned Second Team All-American honors and was named to the All-ACC First Team following an impressive season with the Tar Heels.

His freshman campaign was cut short by injuries, including a fractured hand and a broken thumb that required surgery.

However, Wilson has stated that he expects to be ready to play in Summer League and there are no major concerns about his availability entering the NBA.

Known for his athleticism, energy, and defensive versatility, Wilson is viewed as one of the premier talents in this draft class.

While his perimeter shooting and ball-handling still need development, evaluators believe his physical tools give him significant long-term upside.

Wilson becomes the first draft selection of new Bulls executive Bryson Graham and joins a young core that includes Matas Buzelis, Josh Giddey, and Noa Essengue.
