Bill Simmons emphasized that nothing is certain and acknowledged the Boston Celtics could ultimately decide against making a move.

“Who knows? They may not do anything. But I thought they were sitting out this Giannis thing, but I no longer think that. That’s all I’m going to say.”

Jake Fischer also reported that he has heard similar information regarding Boston’s potential involvement.

Although the Celtics have not yet entered serious negotiations with Milwaukee, their ability to construct a competitive package reportedly “genuinely concerns Miami.”
