Elton Brand will not return as the Philadelphia 76ers’ general manager and is currently working with the organization and Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment on a new role.

Brand, who has been a key member of the 76ers’ front office for several years, decided not to interview for the President of Basketball Operations position after the team parted ways with Daryl Morey.

While he won’t remain GM, he is expected to continue with the organization in another capacity.

Throughout the front-office transition, Brand has stayed involved in team operations and has been actively supporting Philadelphia’s draft preparations ahead of the upcoming NBA Draft.
