The Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors have both emerged as possible destinations for LeBron James as speculation surrounding his future continues to grow ahead of free agency.

James is set to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1 after earning $52.6 million with the Los Angeles Lakers this past season.

While retirement has also been discussed as a possibility, reports indicate the NBA’s all-time leading scorer is still evaluating his options for next season.

According to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst, James is expected to remain patient throughout the process and wait to see how the Lakers approach the offseason before making a final decision.
