Fenerbahçe Beko confirmed that it has renewed its EuroLeague license agreement while also addressing the growing discussion around NBA Europe and the future of European basketball.

In an official statement, the club said it has been “constructively evaluating the various projects and organizational initiatives” related to the sport’s future and stressed that its approach has “never been divisive.”

Fenerbahce also revealed it is closely following NBA Europe’s plans and believes the NBA’s interest could benefit basketball across the continent.

“We are also closely monitoring NBA Europe’s vision for European basketball and its perspective on the global development of the game,” the club stated.

The Turkish powerhouse added that European basketball can only fully grow if clubs and organizations work together off the court while keeping competition on the court.

Fenerbahce also expressed confidence that possible future cooperation between the EuroLeague and NBA Europe could help strengthen the sport’s development in Europe.
