Former New Orleans Pelicans head coach Willie Green has reportedly emerged as a candidate to join the Golden State Warriors coaching staff this offseason.

Green previously worked under Steve Kerr beginning in 2016 and spent three seasons with the organization before later becoming a head coach.

League sources say Green and Kerr have remained close, making a possible reunion realistic as the Warriors reshape their coaching staff following the departures of Terry Stotts and Jerry Stackhouse.
