The Golden State Warriors are expected to lose assistant coach Terry Stotts this offseason after two seasons on Steve Kerr’ staff.

According to reports, Stotts informed Kerr late in the regular season that he would not return next year after his contract expired.

“I enjoyed my time with Steve, the staff and players,” said the longtime NBA coach. “My two years there were fulfilling. Nothing but well-wishes.”

Stotts previously spent nine seasons as head coach of the Portland Trail Blazers and is reportedly still interested in future NBA head coaching opportunities.
