Carter Bryant may have only spent eight minutes on the floor in Game 3, but the rookie forward still managed to make a noticeable impact for the San Antonio Spurs.

Bryant provided an offensive spark during the second quarter by knocking down both of his three-point attempts, helping San Antonio maintain momentum during a key stretch of the game.

“I think the biggest thing is just coming in and just doing my job,” Bryant said after the win.

The rookie also explained that he tries to stay focused on contributing in different ways even when his shot is not falling, especially on the defensive side of the court.

“Sometimes it calls for me to hit those two shots. Sometimes I miss those two shots, but I’m playing spectacular defense on the other end,” Bryant added.

“So it’s just understanding you can’t allow yourself to get out of the game. Just something as simple as that.”
