Austin Reaves out with Grade 2 oblique injury

The Los Angeles Lakers guard Austin Reaves has been diagnosed with a Grade 2 strain of his left oblique and will miss the remainder of the regular season.

According to ESPN, Reaves is expected to be sidelined for approximately four to six weeks due to the injury.

The timing is a major setback for Los Angeles, as both Reaves and Luka Doncic, the team’s top two scorers, are now projected to miss the start of the NBA playoffs.
