It might seem natural to assume that Giannis Antetokounmpo’s brother would have insight into whether the Milwaukee Bucks star plans to stay in Milwaukee or request a trade this offseason.

However, that’s not the case, as Eurohoops.net reports.

In an interview with Toni Canyameras of Mundo Deportivo, Alex Antetokounmpo admitted he doesn’t know what Giannis will decide, even as speculation continues.

“I don’t know. I hope (he stays). We all love him here in Milwaukee, we all want him to stay here in Milwaukee,” said Alex, who is currently on a two-way contract.

“So whatever he decides. I’m his family, but when I mean his family, his kids and wife decide, it’s going to be what’s best for them.”

Antetokounmpo has played 13 seasons for the Bucks. He has averaged 24.1 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 5.0 assists in 895 regular-season games.

Milwaukee centerpiece was selected to play in 9 All-Star games.

He has won 1 Most Improved Player award, 1 Defensive Player of the Year award, 2 MVP awards, 1 Finals MVP award, and 1 NBA championship.
