Josh Giddey still has three seasons left on his four-year, $100MM deal, but the Bulls guard is looking for clarity about the team’s long-term direction, as Julia Poe of the Chicago Tribune reports.

With Chicago struggling, Giddey said players are eager to understand what the front office’s plan is moving forward.

“Everyone wants to know what’s going on,” the player said. “We want to know what the strategy is going forward.

“If you look at the way this team’s put together now, I don’t know if we’re put together to win a championship this year or whether we’re going into a rebuild or a younger phase.”

The Bulls have gone just 6-24 over their last 30 games, highlighting the uncertainty surrounding the team’s trajectory.

Giddey has played 5 seasons for the Thunder and Bulls. He has averaged 14.6 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 6.6 assists in 333 regular-season games.
