Portland Trail Blazers forward Jerami Grant is set to miss time indefinitely after suffering a right calf injury.

Grant explained that he felt a “pop” in his calf during Friday’s loss to the Dallas Mavericks.

While he has already undergone an MRI, the team has not established a recovery timeline, as Grant will need further evaluation before a clearer update is provided.

Despite the setback, Grant has put together a strong season for Portland.

The 12-year veteran has bounced back as a reliable offensive option, averaging 18.6 points along with 3.5 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game.

He has also shown improved efficiency, shooting 45.3% from the field and knocking down 38.9% of his 6.1 three-point attempts per game.
