The Milwaukee Bucks will be without Giannis Antetokounmpo when they host the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. ET, a major blow for a team already dealing with several rotation questions. The two-time MVP is listed out with a left knee hyperextension and bone bruise.

That absence matters even more given Giannis’ numbers this season: 27.6 points, 9.8 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game. Milwaukee is also missing Kevin Porter Jr., who is out with right knee synovitis, while Alex Antetokounmpo remains out on a two-way assignment.

The Bucks still have a few important names on the report, though several are not guaranteed to suit up. Gary Harris is questionable with a left groin contusion, Kyle Kuzma is questionable with right Achilles tendinopathy, Bobby Portis is questionable with a left wrist sprain, and Myles Turner is questionable with right calf soreness.

San Antonio’s only injury report entries are Harrison Ingram, David Jones Garcia and Emanuel Miller, all out on G League two-way status.

The contrast is significant because the Spurs have their core available, led by Victor Wembanyama, who is averaging 24.2 points, 11.2 rebounds and 3.1 blocks per game. De’Aaron Fox has also given San Antonio steady perimeter creation at 18.9 points and 6.3 assists per game.

The Bucks have already dropped their last two games, including a 130-99 loss at Portland and a 129-96 defeat at the Clippers. San Antonio is coming in on a much better run, winning its last two by wide margins and beating Memphis 123-98 and Miami 136-111.

The Spurs beat Milwaukee 119-101 in their only previous meeting this season.
