Jalen Suggs returned to the lineup for the Orlando Magic on Thursday after missing two games due to illness, stepping right back into his usual role.

He rejoined the starting unit and logged 34 minutes in a 121-117 win over the Sacramento Kings.

While Suggs finished with just eight points on 3-of-8 shooting, he delivered a key moment late in the game, knocking down a three-pointer with 27 seconds remaining to push Orlando’s lead to four.

Teammate Desmond Bane praised the play and Suggs’ return, according to Jason Beede of The Orlando Sentinel.

“Huge shot,” Bane said. “Welcome back, J. It’s good to have him back in the lineup, for sure.”
