Los Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard did not play in Monday’s game against San Antonio due to a left ankle sprain, but the issue is not expected to keep him out for long.

Leonard was initially listed as doubtful before being ruled out, and he is currently considered day-to-day, according to Janis Carr of The Orange County Register.

The Clippers are heading on a three-game road trip, which includes a back-to-back in New Orleans on Wednesday and Thursday, followed by a game in Dallas on Saturday.

Leonard is expected to travel with the team, suggesting a possible return during that stretch.

If he wants to remain eligible for end-of-season awards, Leonard will need to appear in at least one of those three upcoming games.
